The Dip Net Restaurant and Dockside Seafood have no affiliation with Linda Bean's Perfect Maine or their affiliate companies. We are however very thankful for the opportunity to lease the establishment from Linda Bean’s Perfect Maine.
Lexi Zable and Chef Chad are the 2 main cooks. Chad Upham is a Port Clyde local that has been feeding the community for 20 years. He has cooked at many of the local favorites over the years such as Farmers, The Harpoon, Craignair Inn and the East Wind Inn.
Lexi has culinary, hospitality and Food Service Management degrees from Johnson and Wales.
Chad and Lexi collaborate on the menu before every season hoping to hit the mark with all of our customers.

“On a whim we visited Port Clyde which is about 1.5 hr from where we were staying in Bangor. It was a chilly day so we bought Dip Net sweatshirts to keep us warm. Food was delicious. Chowder was hot and full of fish. Highly recommend it.” - MainelyMartha315

“We eat here at least once while in Port Clyde. The food is always good, service is friendly, they have always been accommodating to my "elderly" older father.
Eat right on the dock is very cool, although I am not a fan of the tent structure, it does allow you to enjoy the dock when the weather is questionable. They view is super. So glad to see it is now being run by a local, this makes all the difference.” - Ellenor C.
